After 41 years in the financial industry, Curtis recently stepped back from advising clients and managing financial advisors. Long an advocate for professional financial advice in Canada, he remains the Chair of two Advocis national committees; one focusing on investment industry regulation and the other on emerging technologies. Curtis also remains a member of the Legal/Regulatory Policy Committee.
His personal interests include being a founding board member of two charitable organizations, a past chair of an economic development authority in the Rockies, and participating in golf, cycling, and other sports in the Niagara Region where he now resides.
Curtis combines the attributes of a financial advisor with those of a distribution builder, while offering an advanced knowledge of regulatory issues.
