Brad Beuttenmiller is Senior Associate General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Franklin Templeton Investments Corp. (FTIC). Mr. Beuttenmiller is responsible for all legal and regulatory matters in connection with Franklin Templeton’s Canadian business, including those related to FTIC’s subsidiaries, Fiduciary Trust Company of Canada, a federally licensed trust company, and FTC Investor Services Inc., a mutual fund dealer and MFDA member.
Mr. Beuttenmiller has been with Franklin Templeton for 17 years. Prior to joining Franklin Templeton, he was in-house legal counsel for a Canadian life insurance company and was employed at two major law firms.
Mr. Beuttenmiller was called to the Bar in Ontario in 1997. He has a B.B.A. from Wilfrid Laurier University, an LL.B. and M.B.A. from the University of Windsor and an LL.M. (specializing in Securities Law) from Osgoode Hall Law School. Mr. Beuttenmiller has also completed the Canadian Securities Course and the Partners, Directors and Senior Officers Course offered by the Canadian Securities Institute.
